    Getting Started

    What do I need to do to rent?

    Go to the website: https://www.studio-paillette.com/ on mobile or computer.

    Create your Studio Paillette account by clicking on “Create my account” in the information bar.

    Sign up.

    Go to your email inbox and confirm your registration in the confirmation email.

    Select the item you like in the size that suits you, click on “Add to cart”. A black box will unfold on the screen, click on “Order” (if you only want to order this item, otherwise click on “Find products” to continue selecting items).

    Choose your delivery method. (If you choose Relay Point, select your Relay Point which will then appear in the Order Summary on the right side of the screen).

    Check the legal terms. Click on “Validate my cart”. Fill in your payment information and click on “Subscribe”.

    Your bank will likely request authentication of the transaction on your mobile phone which you will validate. Once the authentication is done, you will see a summary screen of your order with the items ordered, the monthly price, the address of the Relay Point (if you chose this delivery method), and you can access your invoice if you wish.

    You will receive a confirmation email with the complete summary of your order.

    Do I have to rent an entire look or can I rent individual pieces?

    You can choose all the items of the same look or only one or a few items from that look. It's up to you!

    Our looks are there to inspire you and help you discover brands you didn't have access to before, to find unique pieces and add character to your outfits.

    How many items can I add to my cart?

    No limit, you can rent as many pieces as you want! You can return some or all of the items whenever you want.

    How long can I keep the items?

    As long as you want. There is no time limit for keeping the pieces. Rentals are monthly. Every month you will receive a small email to simply remind you which pieces are rented in your Studio Paillette wardrobe.

    Can I choose items from different looks?

    Yes, you can choose all the items of the same look or only one or a few items from that look. It's up to you!

    How often are the looks renewed?

    New looks are published several times a month and according to the seasons. Quantities are limited, so always keep an eye on our site to not miss the perfect look and piece!

    Do you offer items from current or past seasons?

    Our idea is precisely to break free from fashion seasons! We offer you an ultra-responsible way to consume, by adopting amazing outfits that renew themselves, rather than always newer models produced at a frantic pace. It is possible to create new and original with everything, as long as the piece has personality. That's why we meticulously search through recent collections, looking for rare gems only, among the brands that excite us.

    Delivery and Return

    How do I return an item?

    To return an item to Studio Paillette, click on the user icon at the top right and select “My orders”.

    Press "Select" then check the box corresponding to the items you wish to return, then confirm your selection.

    We immediately send you a Mondial Relay label. Place the clothes in the reusable Studio Paillette pouch in which the order was delivered and seal the pouch with the provided tie.

    You do not need to clean the garment before returning it, it is our responsibility. Drop the package at the Mondial Relay point of your choice.

    We receive the item: the return is validated once the item has been checked. The check focuses on the overall condition of the item. Light wear and everyday stains are tolerated. If there are small stains, it is good to inform us of their origin and placement.

    I live outside of Paris. Can I order from Studio Paillette?

    Yes, we deliver all over France.

    I live abroad. Can I order from Studio Paillette?

    In addition to France, we deliver to the following countries: Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, and Italy.

    Do I have to use the pouch in which the item arrived for the return?

    Yes! This pouch is reusable, made in France from upcycled materials. Pack the items you wish to return in this pouch, thanks to you it will be used for a future order. 1 billion packages are thrown away each year, but not at Studio Paillette ♻️

    Price, Billing, Duration

    What are the rates?

    The rental rates correspond to a duration of one month and are equivalent to 10% of the retail price of the item.

    How will the rental fees be billed?

    Each item rental is billed monthly. You pay at the time of your order for the upcoming month. Five days before the end of the rental month, you receive an email reminding you that you can either stop your rental and return the item, or renew for an additional month if you wish to keep it. Example: You rent a Ganni dress on January 10. The €21 will be billed on January 10. If you wish to continue your subscription and keep the item, your subscription will renew on February 10 and €21 will be billed to you.

    When does the subscription start?

    The subscription starts the day the package is available for you, either for you to pick it up at the warehouse, or when it arrives at the Relay Point of your choice.

    Am I committed for a long period?

    No! No commitment, no constraints. You order and pay for an item for one month, and at the end of each month, you can freely decide to return or keep the item. We notify you a few days in advance.

    Can I buy the items?

    The philosophy of Studio Paillette is to offer a large shared and creative wardrobe that extends the use of clothes and is part of a circular fashion practice, more sustainable and respectful of resources (quite the opposite of fast fashion, quickly bought and quickly forgotten at the back of a closet!).

    Therefore, we prioritize rental. However, our beautiful pieces will live on the site for an average of 2 years. At the end of this period, if they are in good condition, we will offer them in a "Second Hand" sale at a very attractive price. And all our good customers will of course be notified!

    The pieces that are not in a condition to be loved and worn again will be entrusted to our French recycling partners.

    How can I extend my rental period?

    Five days before the end of the rental period, you will receive a reminder email. You have two options.

    If you wish to continue enjoying the pieces, you don't have to do anything: the subscription will be automatically renewed.

    If you wish to return one or more pieces, go to your personal space, select the piece(s) you wish to return by clicking on "Return", then click on the "Return" button at the top right before confirming.

    Cleaning and Possible Damages

    Are the clothes clean and ready to wear?

    Yes, we only send you perfectly clean and ready-to-wear clothes. The clothes are delivered to you as if you had bought them new. That is our commitment.

    We work in collaboration with eco-friendly dry cleaners who use products that are respectful of the environment and the skin, as well as local tailors. The washing quality is optimal but gentle, in order to preserve the integrity of the garment.

    Do I need to wash the clothes before returning them?

    No, cleaning is provided. Most pieces require special cleaning. Enjoy the piece freely, we take care of the rest!

    Where can I find a description of the condition of the clothes?

    The rented pieces are sometimes new, but generally, they have already been worn. In both cases, we take special care to ensure they are always in perfect condition.

    I accidentally damaged a garment. What happens?

    No worries! We cover all minor damages for free: small stains, damaged seams, etc. In case of a button falling off, don't forget to slip it into an envelope that you will put inside the return bag so that we can repair it properly. However, in case of serious damage making an item completely unusable, we are obliged to charge a percentage of the product's book value, inversely proportional to the number of times it has already been rented.

    Sizes

    How do I choose my size?

    Our clothes are selected to fit different styles and body shapes. Each brand applies its own sizing system. That is why we offer a "Studio Paillette size" for each garment.

    What is a Studio Paillette size? Easy, it is a size that takes into account the characteristics of the piece. Whether it is the original cut, the material's fit, the intention behind the fit, the way it is best showcased, or the desired style.

    After fitting, we translate all these elements into universal sizes that fit different body shapes. For example, if a wide-fit pant is labeled 36 but we find the fit equally successful on a size 38 after fitting, we indicate a Studio Paillette size 36-38. If you have any doubts or questions regarding a particular piece, do not hesitate to contact us directly at contact@studio-paillette.com with the subject "question about a product".

    What if the item I ordered does not fit?

    You just have to return it. The return is free at a Relay Point. However, given the modest rental price and the fact that delivery and return are free, the rental price will not be refunded.
