The Brand
Trained at the École de Condé and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, Justine Bossard, the creator of LAJU, has worked as a pattern maker for high-end fashion houses.
At 26, noticing the waste of materials and the lack of respect for artisans, she launched her accessories brand, LAJU, in 2018. Responsibility and commitment are at the heart of her approach, favoring the reuse of stock and leather scraps from major fashion houses.
French and Parisian manufacturing is a given, with small leather goods made in Paris and bags crafted in central France.
Since early 2022, LAJU PARIS has been a responsible resident brand at La Caserne. In parallel, Justine teaches at Parsons Paris, sharing her passion and commitment.
